1. It was a day of fierce fighting on the streets of Beirut as Shiite Hezbollah supporters and Sunnis battled it out. At least four people died. The Hezbollah leader is accusing the Lebanese government of declaring war on his group after shutting down its communications network.

2. The United States may air-drop aid to victims of a cyclone 1 in Myanmar, doing it without the government's permission. The UN is appealing to the country's military leaders to let a major international aid effort to begin.


3. Severe weather moves through parts of Mississippi and Alabama. Strong winds toppling some homes, all an apparent 2 tornado 3 damaged a shopping mall in Tupelo, Mississippi. Some school systems released students early. The storms caused no injuries.


4. In Colorado Springs, several bears make a mess of the neighborhood going through the trash, crawling up a tree. All captured on tape. The bears eventually moved on, running out of the neighborhood and then up a hill.
