"We have disadvantages coming into the match because just 3 days ago we  got back from the champions league to prepare for this match and we are ready for a tough game against Beijing," said Dan Petrescu, Jiangsu head coach.



"Wining here will be a huge boost to our confidence, we all know how hard it is to win 3 points at the workers stadium," said Li Ang, Jiangsu defender.



But this Guoan team is not the same side that has been challenging for titles in recent years. Key man Burak Yilmaz is still injured and a string of poor performances have put the Green army in trouble and more disappointment for their loyal fans would follow here.  

"I'm very angry right now, I feel sorry for the fans, sorry for the crowds who always come to support us, I apologise to them, I scored my first goal for the club but couldn't help to win so I cant be happy," said Zhao Hejing, Beijing defender.



"Beijing have a very experienced coach in Zaccheroni who used to coach Italy and Japan. I think people should trust him, and give him more time," said Dan Petrescu.



The match ended in a 2-1 win for the visitors but the game will be overshadowed by an incident between high profile Jiangsu signing Alex Teixeria and Guoan midfielder Ralf.

When Texeria left his foot in on his fellow Brazilian a yellow card was branded but when then he appeared to slap Ralf which sparked outrage from both benches. A closer inspection shows an Oscar winning performance from the Guoan man but Teixeria was giving his marching orders anyway. 



The incident highlighted the lack of class from both teams and in front of an increasing global audience didn't hold the CSL in a positive light. 



Dan also said, "we were played well during the match, but what happened with Teixeira is not over, we will check the footage when we get back and make appeal. After he was being sent off we become very passive, but we still managed to win with 10 men so we should be proud."



Predictions before the start of the season said the new 'big 5' of the league which includes Evergrande, Guoan, Luneng and SIPG will leading this way this campaign, but with Luneng's 2-3 lost to Taida, and Guoan's miserable performance it seems only the three left at the top table position can compete for the title. The 3 haven't met this season but when they do, that might give a bigger indication of who is the team to beat.
