[00:27.67]The cartoon aims to highlight a social aspect

[00:31.60]that a bundle of surveys pay excessive attention to personal privacy.

[00:36.34]Who is to blame for the phenomenon?

[00:39.06]In my opinion, the media are mainly responsible for it.

[00:43.72] A good social survey is supposed to provide insight into

[00:47.49]some general matters of the society and appeal to people for concern about them.

[00:52.87] However, the media, who conduct most social surveys,

[00:58.55]are more interested in privacy-related issues than in widespread problems.

[01:04.16] Trying to please the public with claptrap and gain fame,

[01:08.59]the media actually mislead the public, and, purposely sometimes,

[01:13.47]infringe on citizens' right of privacy.

[01:16.38]As far as I am concerned,

[01:18.56]the solution lies in the joint 2 effort of the authorities and the media.

[01:25.99]the authorities formulate 3 laws and regulations to ensure
