当TED资深成员凯撒哈拉达听说2010年BP公司石油泄漏对墨西哥湾的重大影响的时候，他辞掉他理想的工作并搬去新奥尔良，去研发一个吸收油污更高效的方法。他设计了一艘具有高度可控性和灵活度的船，这艘船可以快速清洁大片油污。但是，他并没有以此作为盈利的工具，而是倾向于公开这项设计。
