英语课
Military investigators 1 will spend today collecting and analyzing 2 all of these as they attempted to piece together what happened. At the moment, there is very little to go on. The weather of yesterday was good and the jet appeared fine as it took off with other red planes in its aerobatic stunt 4.
A number of people saw the moment the Hawk 5 Jet came down. They may well be able to help investigators. This footage shows the moment just after the crash. It was filmed by Shaun Spencer Perkins who was out walking with his family.
"I could see through these trees can red arrow flying under those trees all way along there above the field."
"I can smell the burning. "
We went back through the field passing large pieces of the plane, bits of tail fin 3, bits of the ailerons, the door. Some of them were embeded in the ground. There were large ruts and delves 6, huge delves knocked into the ground by the debris 7 and the very first point where the debris fuel started, there was huge scorch 8 mark on the ground.
They spent sometime searching for the pilot but were unable to find him. He was named late last night, this 33-year-old flight lieutenant 9, Jon Egging. His wife Emma who was watching yesterday's air show remembered him with a few words.
"Joh was everything to those who knew him. He was the best friend and husband I could ever have wished for. He loved his job and he was an exemplary pilot. Watching him today I was the proudest I've ever been. I loved everything about him and he will be missed."
And from the home of the Red Arrow in Lincolnshire, the Squadron had this message.
"John Egging, known as Eggman, joined the team in the autumn of last year and he was a much valued and respected member at the team. At this time, my thoughts are clearly with his wife, Emma and his parents and the thoughts of the team, the engineers and his fellow team members are very much with him."
Despite the tragedy though, there is relief that the plane did't hit any of the nearby houses. This could have been significantly worse.
