Tim McGraw自94年以专辑「Not A Moment Too Soon」连霸Billboard流行榜与乡村榜双冠王的气势强悍登场以来，他接续的7张专辑，除了一张屈居亚军外，其馀作品通通都在乡村专辑榜上封王，而这8张专辑更跨越乡村界线，张张入主流行榜TOP 10，并连创22首冠军单曲，全球累积销售冲破3000万张，这些商业销售纪录，再加上他过去10年来赢得包括∶葛莱美奖、全美音乐奖、Billboard音乐奖、乡村音乐学会奖(CMA)、乡村音乐学院奖(ACM)等大奖在内的70座音乐大奖，这位融合了honky-tone、南方乡村民谣摇滚与抒情小品的唱作风格的男歌手就这样跻身当代乡村巨星之林，96年底与美国国民天后Faith Hill结婚后，两人在歌唱事业的表现更加耀眼，这对银色夫妻所合作的单曲"It's Your Love"、"Let's Make Love"都在流行或乡村榜上创造TOP 10佳绩。
