英语课
After 7 arduous 1 months away from home, their faces say it at all. It’s good to be back.
4 months.
Really, that daddy is OK.
And for this soldier, it’s a chance to meet his 3-week-old son for the first time.
So proud.
These soldiers are the first company from 3rd Battalion 2 the Yorkshire Regiment 3 to return from Afghanistan after their latest tour of duty.
Just a tip say we’re emotionally yes. Yeah, brilliant.
Spiritually relief.
Yeah.
Big relief. Good to be home, a long time haven’t seen them.
Proud of him.
Yeah, proud of him.
Inevitably 4 though this reunion was tinged 5 with sadness. These 6 men should be here too. Sergeant 6 Nigel Coupe, Corporal Jake Hartley, Private Anthony Frampton, Private Christopher Kershaw, Private Daniel Wade 7 and Private Daniel Wilford were all killed in March in the single deadliest attack on British forces since operations began in Afghanistan in 2001. The armored vehicle they were travelling in hit a lethal 8 RED in Helmond Province.
It happens just a week after these riflemen arrived in Lashkargah, it was a huge blow from Iran making their job far harder. And if the families left waiting at home, I mean they’re safer at home just couldn’t come soon enough.
Although we’re prepared or as we’re mentally prepared that all we will be taken to hospital or to be casualties nothing can prepare you of the tragedy that hits us. However, as it said we had 6 months and in order to make that 6 months worth well and ensure the guards hadn’t you know, deaf for no reason. We had to push on, we had to take the fight back to the enemy.
And continuing their fight in Afghanistan are the remainder of the Battalion, a further 400 riflemen will return to scenes like this next month.
