In the last year, the M.A chair has faced critism after critisism. Now the reliability 1 of waiting time is being questioned. We are not suggesting that the misrecording of time of the trust we visiting. we think that the M.A chairs and the department of health need to make sure the consistent 2 and reliable waiting time information is represented by trusting future. It needs be comproble at the moment, we don't think that the data provided 3 by trust is suffciently comproble. If you are patient, if you are trying to design which hospital to go to and waiting time matters, you have to got the solid basic which to design.
It was on the day when the government is confirm it's tackling 4 another issuse facing the the M.A. chairs. It wants to stop the patients being passed around the system by one doctor in charge of looking after them. In university college hospital that doctor's name is written above the bags.
I think it's important you need to trust the people who looking after you, because they are making the dignose system. You need to believe in what they say and tell you to do. And I found it useful to put names to faces.
We will make sure that they have their consulton's name. The new system doesn't mean patients will only see one doctor, but they will know who has overall responsibility for their care. Their family, their loved ones come in, they can see who is looking after them and who they may need put their questions to, to get clarity 5 and get strong communication so we can really coordinate 6 their care get them the most effective and top quality care of the patient.
It all comes down to the quality of care provided and the question of trust. M.A. chairs England says any problems with data have to be addressed. But it is yet another problem.
