2018年CRI PLA celebrates 91st anniversary amid reforms

The People's Liberation Army is marking the 91st anniversary of its founding on August 1, 2018.
This year's anniversary comes amid continued national reforms under the leadership of Xi Jinping, who heads the CPC Central Committee and the Central Military Commission.
The reforms still underway include adjustments to the PLA's Ground Forces, Navy, Air Force, Rocket Force, Armed Police and Logistic force.
Among the recent changes include the divestment of the military from for-profit ventures.
