2015年CRI Share Nutrition Knowledge on Social Media

A forum 1 that discusses the spread of nutrition knowledge on new media has recently been convened 2 in Beijing.
This forum was held as Tencent's social messaging service WeChat has become the main information sharing source in China. Health regimes are also one of the top seven topics for wechat news.
Wu Jia comes from the newspaper Life Times, one of the sponsors of the activity.
"This year, we focus on initiating 3 a discussion on the correlations 4 between nutrition and social media. We could see an increasing number of netizens nowadays, who publish the nutrition knowledge on their social-media accounts. As everybody is given room to voice their opinions, we should also deliberate on a better spread of nutrition knowledge."
The forum is part of an Amway Health Care Project in Beijing, which is guided by the China Health Education center. Participants not only include nutrition experts but journalists.

Ma Guansheng, a professor at Peking University's Department of Nutrition and Food Hygiene, started writing blog to spread nutrition knowledge six years ago.
He thinks highly of this forum, adding that bloggers are an important source of website referrals for many news outlets 6.
"The activity builds a platform between journalists and health experts as well as relevant professional organs. This platform can see both sides better communicate knowledge about nutrition and health."
Since 2012, the Amway Health Care Project has been held annually 7 sweeping 8 through a total of 25 Chinese cities.
At each destination of the activity, an expert team would analyze 9 problems that affect local residents' health and also spread knowledge on how to stay healthy.
