English actor Orlando Bloom has recently been in Beijing promoting his upcoming action-packed thriller 1 film 'Smart Chase' in which he co-stars with a Chinese cast.
Orlando Bloom, who rose to fame following his portrayal 2 as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, said he's excited about being part of the cast.
"We endeavor to make a film which I think is a Chinese movie but with a very sort of westernized feel and story to it, not only myself. But it's a very interesting blend, which I think it's unusual for the film market here today and I'm excited for audiences to see it.”
"Smart Chase" centers on a washed-up private security agent who gets ambushed 3 as he attempts to escort a pricey Chinese antique out of Shanghai.
The film, starring Wu Lei, Simon Yam, Hannah Quinlivan, and Lynn Hung, has been set for a global release on September 30.
