A second British teenager has been sentenced in connection with the A terrorist plot in Melborne. The 16 year old girl will spend 12 months under supervision 1, after pleading guilty to being aware of the plan to attack a police officer. She was romatically linked to the 14 year old boy who was sentenced to life for ploting the terror attack.
Oscar Pistorius has been granted parole one year into his five year sentence for killing 2 his girlfriend R. The South African Olympian was found guilty of man slaugher after he fired a gun over locked tiolet door, killing R. Pistorius will leave prison early next week, and will enter a house arrest at his uncle's mansion 3 in Pretoria.
And US has delayed its military withdraw from Afghanistan, most of other countries have left the war-torn country. The last Australian troops left in 2013. It is a major policy shift for president Barack Obama who says Afghan troops are not ready to defend their country on their own.
