Thunderstorms contract to the northeast of New South Wales. Showers easing in the east. Dry in the west. In Victoria, showers in the south of the state easing over Gippsland, cool southerly winds throughout.
Showers in the south and northeast of Tasmania. Dry and cool elsewhere. A few light showers in the far west coast of South Australia. Dry and mostly sunny across rest of the state.
