The Australian chair market rally today on optimism about the US economy ahead of some key US job assembly due tonight. The All Ordinaries index jumped to one and half percent, and the ASX 200 index was up 1.6 percent. Sales in several categories including clothing and food were felling in the month. But that was off said by increased household goods and food. The retail association has described the figures as dissapointing.
Advertising 7 executive and ABC television perseonality Todd Sampson is to join the Qantas spot. Mr. Sampson is the cief executive of advertising agency Leo Burnett in Australia. But perhaps better known is his media work including as a panelist on the ABC gruen tranfer programme. His appointment at Qantas will take effect late next month.
