Police have arrested a man over a double murder in Melbourne's northwest overnight 1. The bodies of a man and a woman were found in a house at Moonee Ponds. Three young children aged 2 five and under were also found unharmed inside their house. Police arrested a 44-year-man in the home's driveway. He was taken to hospital with minor 3 injuries.
Tony Abbott will be among about 60 world leaders heading to South Africa to attend a memorial service for Nelson Mandela. Millions of South Africans have been remembering their former leader during a national day of prayer. The state funeral will be held for Mr Mandela at the end of the week.
