The owner of a school bus is in police custody 1 following a deadly accident in the city of Penglai in Shandong.
11 kindergarten children, along with the buses' driver, were killed after a truck loaded with sand crashed into the school bus.
Three injured students are being treated in hospital and are in a stable condition.
The driver of the sand truck, along with the head of the kindergarten, are also being questioned by police.
The minibus was only supposed to be carrying a maximum of 8.
There were 15 children in it at the time of the crash.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has arrived in Auckland, beginning his first state visit to New Zealand since becoming president.
