China has signed deals worth some 8-billion euros (around 10 billion dollars) with Italy as part of Chinese Premier 1 Li Keqiang's time in Rome.


Among them, the China Investment Corporation has inked an agreement with an Italian investment fund to co-invest up to 500 million euros each in companies promoting bilateral 2 economic cooperation.


At the same time, Chinese industrial group BAIC has signed a 400 million euro deal to buy 50 helicopters from Italian defense 3 giant Finmeccanica.


Li Keqiang is currently on a week-long visit to Europe that has already taken him to Germany and Russia.


The Chinese Premier is due to attend a summit of Asian and European leaders in Milan before returning to China.


Chinese President Xi Jinping says he's looking forward to another meeting with South Korean President Park Geun-hye during the forthcoming APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in Beijing next month.


Xi Jinping has made the suggestion while meeting with officials from South Korea's ruling party, the New Frontier Party.


The party officials are in Beijing to attend the first round of party policy talks between the Chinese and South Korean ruling parties.
