这些副词均可表示"主要地，大量地"之意。
mainly：指主要部分，突出在一系列事物中的相对重要性。
chiefly：侧重某人或某物在众多的人或物中占主要和显著地位。
greatly：通常强调程度的高。
largely 1：着重范围或分量大大超过别的成分。
mostly：强调数量占多半，近乎全部。
primarily：侧重基本地，首要地。
principally：侧重居首要地位。
generally：通常强调普遍性。
活学活用

语法讲解
the only thing 后面有两个部分在做后置定语（修饰名词的成分就叫做定语）。
1、left是过去分词做后置定语，因为它和前面的事情之间是被动的关系，因此，用过去分词来表示被剩下的事情。
2、to do同样是后置定语来修饰the only thing。当中心词被序数词，形容词最高级，the only，the last，the next等所修饰时，后面通常用不定式做后置定语。
