Let’s take a look at the satellite image. A gusty 1 southerly flow moving up the New South Wales coast is producing showers over the coastal 2 fringe. A trough and front over Western Australia is producing showers, mostly in the west and southwest. A cool southerly is also producing showers in Victoria and the southeast of Tasmania.
Looking around the country, in Queensland, it’s a cold morning with frost patches in the south and west. A chance of showers in the east and north. Dry and sunny elsewhere.
In New South Wales, partly cloudy with showers along the coast and the alpine 3 area. It will be fine and sunny elsewhere.
In Victoria, some morning frosts in the north. Cloudy with scattered 4 showers in the south and east. Mostly sunny elsewhere. It will be a very cold morning for Tasmania with light showers in the west and southeast and there’ll be a chance of snow as low as 600 meters in the far south. To South Australia, partly cloudy with showers along the coast. A fine and breezy day elsewhere.
In Western Australia, cloudy with rain in the southwest. Dry and mostly sunny in the northeast. In the Northern Territory, a mostly sunny and fine day with a slight chance of showers in the northeast. Looking ahead to tomorrow’s forecast for the capital cities, showers in Brisbane and Sydney. Sunny in Melbourne and Hobart. Adelaide will be partly cloudy. Showers in Perth and sunny in Darwin.
