Unit 56 Returns and exchanges第56课 退款与更换Most stores in America have return and exchange policies.If, for instance 1, you buy a shirt and find out when you try it on that it's too small, you can take it back to the store and exchange it for a larger size. At many stores it is also possible to return items for a refund 2, though there is usually a time limit. Also, not all items can be returned. Books, swimsuits and CDs ( if they' ve been opened), for example, cannot be returned. When you make a purchase, it's always a good idea to find out the store's return and exchange policy.
美国大部分的商店都有退款和更换的规定。举例来说，如果你买了一件衬衫，试穿时却发现太小了，就可以把它拿回店里换尺寸大一点的。很多商店也允许退还商品并退钱，不过这有时间限制。并非所有的物品都可被退还，例如：书、泳衣和CD (假如它们已经被打开了)就不能被退还。当你在买东西时，通常的好点子就是弄清楚商店退货或退款的规定。
