2018年CRI 'My Little Pony: The Movie' screens in China

An animated 1 musical "My Little Pony 2: The Movie," developed by American toymaker Hasbro has premiered in Beijing.
Hong Kong actress Christy Chung brought her daughter Cayla to the premiere.
Chung said, "Little pony is a meaningful movie for kids. Both my eldest 3 daughter who is 20 years old now and also my youngest girl are loyal fans of the television series."
The film is based on the television series "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic," which has remained popular among children worldwide since its launch 35 years ago.
Directed by Jayson Thiessen, the movie tells the story of the ponies 4 of Equestria preparing for their first Friendship Festival which is interrupted by an invasion of monsters.
The film is due to be released across China this coming Friday, February 2, 2018.
