It's Tuesday. I am C.C. And this is CNN Student News. This is our last show this week, but we have a lot of ground to cover before the thanksgiving break. So let's go ahead get to it.

First up, New York officials arrest a man they say was planning a terrorist attack. Mayor M. B described Hossi P.T as a lone 1 wolf, that means he was legilately operating on the zoo. P.T is reportedly inspired by N, not believed to be actually part of the terrorist organization. P.T was arrested on Sunday on bomb related charges. Survyor's video showed him drilling holes and pipes that authority say were going to be used as pipe-bombs. P.T reportedly told the police he was about a hour away from finishing his first bomb when he was arrested. According to officials in New York, P.T was planning to attack police officers, petro cars, and U.S military troops who are coming home from serving overseas. P.T's attorney says the case against his client isn't as strong as authority say it is.
Some American   could be getting some help in the job market. President Obama signed a billion-law yesterday. It gives tax credits to companies that hired     who might have been out of work for a while. This is the only part of the president's job proposal, but it has been approved. Both the U.S House and the Senate voted unanimously to pass this bill. Republicans and Democratics  agree on helping 2   . They don't say new agreeed plan to reduce government deficit 3. Yesterday we reported on Congress's super committee. You can check out Monday show for details on how the committeee was formed and its efforts to come up with it to cut the deficit. The deadline was Monday for the Committee to form a plan. But late yesterday afternoon, it announced it could not reach a deal. For the latest developments and reactions to that announcement, go to CNN.COM.
Some significant advance that happened on this day in history. In 1906, the Moscow signal S-O-S was adopted as the international distress 4 signal. In 1917, the National Hockey League was created. It is the second oldest of the four major teams hocky leagues in North America.  And in 1963 president John Kennedy was shotted to kill while riding in a motor    in Dallas Texes. Presidnet Kennedy was 46 years old.
Turning to Egypt now. With the members of the country's cabinet have all quit, we reported yesterday on the angony new protest happening in the north Afican nation. The civilian 5 government reacted to that by offering step down. The protests in Egypt right now are against the military leaders who are currently running the country's government. Some peopled are worried that the military has too much control. And they want the military to step down. More than 20 people have been killed in the fighting between protesters and security forces. The military took control in Egypt after the uprising earlier this year forced the country's long-time president out of power. Military says it'll handle over control with the civiliant govenment who wants it to be elected. The dead election process takes a while, maybe even a year.
