The candidates running for the Republican presidential nomination 1 debated for the sixth time this week.
本周,竞选共和党总统的候选人已经展开了第六轮辩论。
The debate is the second-to-last one before the Iowa caucus 3 on February 1.
此次讨论是2月1号爱荷华州预选会议上倒数第二次讨论。
The Iowa caucus is a series of meetings where participants, called delegates, vote for one Republican and one Democratic party candidate.Whoever gets the most votes in that state will be endorsed 4 at the national convention later in the year.

Candidates Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted 2 Cruz, John Kasich, Marco Rubio and Donald Trump 5 debated in South Carolina on Thursday night.

Trump says he thinks the Democratic Party would file a lawsuit 12 claiming that Cruz is not allowed to be president if he wins the Republican nomination.

Two other issues were raised in the debate:
