Investigators 1 in Illinois say a police officer whose fatal shooting triggered a massive manhunt committed suicide. Police say the officer carefully staged his death because he was about to be exposed as a thief.

Northern Arizona is getting an early taste of winter weather. Snow was falling in parts of Flagstaff on Wednesday. Forecasters say snow showers in the area will increase through Wednesday evening.
