音乐咖啡厅:People Should Smile More-Newton Faulkner
Newton Faulkner虽然外表奇貌不扬，歌曲却非常动人心弦。1985年出生於英格兰Surrey的创作歌手。今年6月底发行第一张专辑《Hand Built by Robots》，也同时推出第二支单曲〈dream catch me〉，这首歌被BBC Radio 1的DJ Jo Whiley选出，获得很高的评价并且强力放送，也在其他DJ的节目上有著极高的曝光率。他曾在今年初分别担任James Morrison和Paolo Nutini巡迴演唱的嘉宾。
这首〈Dream Catch Me〉的确如他的曲风一般，走的非常acoustic，还带点民谣的感觉。他学吉他的时间很晚，15岁才接触吉他，同时进入英国 Academy of Contemporary Music，是个主攻pop和rock的音乐学院，只用了两年的时间就获得文凭。他的老师Eric Roche很有名，曾经参与过the beatles〈While My Guitar Gently Weeps〉和〈Norwegian Wood〉的吉他编曲，Newton Faulker受他老师的影响很深。
