Do you know what a boycott is? 你知道什么是抵制吗？
A boycott means 2 that people don't buy certain products. 抵制意味着人们不买某些产品。
Sometimes people boycott products because they believe that the company or the country which made the product is behaving badly. 有时人们抵制产品是因为他们相信制造产品的公司或国家行为不端。
Here's a simple example. 举个简单的例子。
There is a book store in your town, the owner of the store sells books at a higher price than other bookstores, 在你的镇上有一家书店，店主卖书的价格以比其他书店高，
so the people in your town decide to boycott the bookstore. 所以你们镇上的人们决定抵制这个书店。
In other words, people stop buying books from the store. 换句话说，人们不再从这个书店买书了。
