What is an egg? 蛋是什么呢？
Birds and fish give birth to many babies at one time. 鸟和鱼一次能生下很多宝宝。
They can do this by laying many eggs at one time. 这是因为它们一次能产很多蛋。
The baby birds or the baby fish stay in eggs until they are ready to be born. 鸟宝宝或鱼宝宝出生前会一直待在蛋中。
What do eggs look like? 蛋是什么样子的？
When you make a fried 1 egg, you can see a yellow part and white part. 你在煎蛋的时候，会看到蛋黄和蛋白。
The yellow part of the egg becomes a chick. 蛋黄能变成幼鸟。
The chick eats the white part until it comes out of the egg. 幼鸟在出生之前会吃掉蛋白。
