[02:23.75]"An invitation to the 1996...Medical Conference in London.
[02:30.60]They don't usually invite me."
[02:34.64]He looked at his diary and found that he would be free that week.
[02:40.21]He decided 4 to attend the meeting though he was still a bit surprised.
[02:45.88]He wondered why they had invited him.
[02:50.32]Dr Baker replied to the invitation, accepting it.
[02:55.60]A few months later,Dr Baker arrived at the conference.
[03:01.16]He knew several people there.

[03:23.73]She had not yet arrived.

[03:31.72]one of the organizers 6 of the conference came into the hall.
[03:37.29]"Ladies and gentlemen,may I have your attention,please?"he said.
[03:43.32]"Dr Lively was going to give a talk this morning.
[03:48.75]I'm afraid her plane will be very late because of bad weather at the airport.

[04:30.21]"Ah!Dr Baker.I'm so glad you're here.
[04:35.49]I'm looking for another speaker who could give a talk,
[04:40.53]as our main speaker can't get here today.

[04:50.56]"About DNA?"said Dr Baker.
[04:55.11]"You must be joking!I know nothing at all about that subject."

[05:51.79]to receive an invitation to the conference but had decided to accept it.
[05:58.64]They went to the organizer's office and there they discovered the mistake
[06:04.80]The organizer had put Dr P Baker's name on title list of speakers,
[06:11.64]but when the invitation list was being done,
[06:16.32]someone had made a careless mistake and had written 'Dr D Baker' instead.
