Thank you for watching CNN student news. I am Paul reporting from Alexander, Georgia.
We are starting with news form Ukraine. Part of Kiev, the capital, were lift up with fire, if we put the show together. Earlier in the day, at least 14 people have been killed, 7 civilian 1, 6 officers, and 1 governmental employee, as protestors intensify 2 in Kiev.
Ukraine gained its independence in 1991 from the Soviet 3 Union, while two decades later, its people are severely 4 divided. Some want closer ties with the America and European Union, others including the president want closer ties with Russia. Protests over this have been going on for a month. Each side is blaming each other for Tuesday’s violence.
In the US and northeast America too, are sick of snow, now is the winter of their discontent. The good news is it is going to get warmer for them as this week goes on. For Chicago, this is the fifth snow which is never recorded, with almost 67 inches of snow, so far. For Philadelphia, third snow yet, over 58 inches of snow there. And for Indianapolis, this winter is the snowiest ever, almost 52 inches of snow and only in February.
Once again, the northeast is bracing 5 for another snowy blast. I have to stop. I can not see where I am. This latest winter storm already causing crippling wind up situation in north east of Illinoi, and slamming Chicago area with up to 60 inches of snow. In Nowak, icy roads cause a vehicle spin off the high way, hitting this squad 6 car, which is at the scene of another crash. That’s the monstrous 7 snow force in near record breaking totals.
That is too much snow for my taste.

Schools in D are considering extending days by 30 minutes. And some schools in New Jersey 8 may hold classes on Saturdays.
It kind of stinks 9.
But get ready for the bid thaw 10.
Later this week, temperature will finally rise, melting these mass accumulations of snow form Washington DC to Maine.
On the west coast, it is heaviest rain in Oregon that brought adulteries, demolishing 11 homes and landing inches away from people inside.
