President Obama has won the Noble Peace Prize.Thestunning announcement made earlier this morning.The NominatingCommittee said that Mr. Obama was chosen for his international diplomacy 1 efforts.And they specifically mentioned his outreach to the MuslimWorld and his work on climate changing and nuclear disarmament.WhiteHouse correspondent Dan Lothian explained how President Obama heard thenews."It was Robert Gibbs,the White House spokeman who called thePresident this morning shortly before 6 a.m.And then brought the news to him that he has won the Noble Peace Prize and according to the Senior Administration official,the President was "humble 2 to be selected by the committee",but clearly the White House was caught off guard by this announcement.In fact,another administration official saying we were "quite surprise by the announcement."
This morning,two NASA spacecrafts crashed into the moon on purpose.The first one didthe dirty work kicking up a crowd of dust.Then a few minutes later,thesecond one flew in to analyze 3 the dust particles before it crashed aswell.NASA is hoping to find water in some of that soil.
