Tim Lambesis, the lead singer for the heavy metal band As I Lay Dying has been arrested in California on Tuesday on charge that he sought the help of an undercover detective to have his estranged 1 wife killed. Lambesis was taken into custody 2 near San Diego, police had previously 3 learned that the singer was looking out for someone to carry out the killing 4, but would not give any details as to his motive 5. His wife Maggan filed papers in San Diego Superior Court back in September 2012, seeking a dissolution of the marriage. Lambesis is a founding member of As I Lay Dying, he’ll appear in court for an arraignment 6 on Thursday.
