Breaking news overseas, former Egyptian president Houssani Mubarack has been sentenced to life in prison this morning. When the sentence was announced, fights broke out inside the court room and on the streets of Cairo. ABC's Jeffery Koffron join us now from London with the details. Jeffery.
Good morning, Ron, well this verdict, this trial would have been unthinkable even 2 years ago. A stunning 1 fall for Mubarack ,the first Arab leader ever convicted in his own country of crimes against his own people, found guilty of failing to stop the killing 2 of armed demonstrators during the last year's uprising. When the verdict was read, jubilation 3 erupted in crowd outside the court, then scuffle between the Mubarack supporters and opponents. Mubarack, 84 has been held in a Cairo hospital. Today he was taken by a helicopter to a prison outside Cairo where he will serve that life sentence. Ron
