在深海的黑暗中，很多海洋生物用发光来捕食，交配和自我保护。生物体发光专家伊迪丝·威德是第一个记录下这发光世界的专家之一。在TED2011上，她在舞台上带来了一些她发光的伙伴，并展示了更令人惊奇的海底生物发光的录像。
