《冰雪奇缘》音乐编写与合成是由克莉丝汀·安德森·洛佩兹（Kristen Anderson-Lopez）与罗伯特·洛佩兹（Robert Lopez）夫妇共同完成，在剧本最后版本确定后尚未采用他们全部的音乐，其中被选用的歌曲 For the First Time in Forever 与 Love is an Open Door 因为剧情对白需要修改或增加歌词，所有的试听版（Demo）是由该夫妇在家中录制，部分歌曲由其两名女儿（Katie、Annie）配唱，其亦担任电影中儿时的艾莎与安娜两角的配音与配唱。
