Promotion 1 or Detour 2

Jobs are like roads, some have fast speed limits, others require a slower pace. Some have nice scenery, others offen drudgery 3.Some lead up to mountains, other slam into dead ends.It maybe easy to decide which jobs to take with these descriptions.

If your work make you quick, uphill and full of perks,do you just grab 4 it?The answer is no.While recognizing opportunities and seizing them signals a successful person. But if you are going to be truly successful. You have to make sure it's the right opportunity.Because even a wonderful road can take you someplace where you really not want to go.Ask yourself the following three questions before considering a new job and all its benefits.

What do you want to do in your life time?Everybody knows the answer to this question? No.In fact,a lot of people don't even ask himself this question instead they wait for their careers and relationships to help them find their goals.Which is a lot like heading out on a trip without a road map.So don't get lost.Sit down and have a long talk with yourself about what you want to gain in your life. Then think about your career can help you achieve these goals.Where do you want to live, environment plays an important role in our emotions. You may not be able to find a good job in your dream place. But another locale with similar characteristics and better career chance could be a fine choice.Just don't get caught to someplace you despise 5 because a good job is located there. You won't be happy. Are there people you can't live without ?Job opportunities can take you away from friends, families, lovers and even spouses 6.There were changing scenery can be great way to expand your social and intellectual horizons, the benefits may not outweigh 7 the cost of separation from those closest and most important people to you.
