Tip:
很多人都知道refuse to do的用法，以至于认为refuse只能作不及物动词使用，如Why did the patient refuse to take the medicine? (那个病人为什么不肯服药?)其实 refuse也可作及物动词，后面可直接接名词，如It didn't occur 2 to him that she would refuse his invitation. (他没有想到她会拒绝他的邀请)。拒绝对方时语气一定要委婉，为将来留余地的同时，也是对对方的一种尊重。所以不妨说 We are expecting cooperation with you next time. (希望有机会下次合作)。
