Jake Davidson is a typical 17-year old American high school student , preparing for his graduation . And in America, that means getting ready for the senior prom .

But while Jake had a suit, a tie, and a car, the one thing he didn’t have was a date . So after some of the girls he knew turned him down , Jake decided 1 he’d invite the most beautiful girl he could imagine – world famous 20-year old model Kate Upton.

Of course you can’t just walk up to one of the most glamorous 2 women in the world and ask them for a date – at least not if you want to get the right answer. In this day and age there is another way- YouTube.

Jake and his friends made a funny 2-minute video inviting 3 Kate to go out with him . Jake expected to get a few laughs , and then it would be over . Instead, over two million people watched his video, including, you guessed it Kate Upton. And Kate was so flattered 4 by the attention that she went on TV and said she’d really go out with Jake … if she could fit it into her schedule .

In the end , Kate couldn’t make the date , and Jake had to ask a girl closer to home . But the moral of this story is : in the era of the Internet, almost anything you imagine is possible , if you can just get two million people to follow you .
