If you thought swords coming right at your face and cars crashing literally 1 in front of your eyes were enough to give you nightmares for weeks-you ain't seen nothing yet! Because when fans in Nagoya, Japan, saw the premier 2 of “Iron Man 3” in April, their theater did 3D one better, and added seats that vibrated and moved to the action, water, mist and smells that filled the air at the appropriate time in the movie, and even smoke and bubbles.
Before coming to Japan, the new theater technology had already debuted 3 in South Korea, Thailand, Peru, and Mexico, and it is expected to reach the United States sometime in the next five years.
Of course while seeing a movie in 4D is all well and good, the real question is when I can bring the fourth dimension home, and buy it on my TV , mobile devise, or computer screen.
