Can you tell us what is so special about your department store?

It’s special. Renoce is a large department store and you can everything you want for your home and it stays open late on Thursday and Saturdays.

Yes, that’s right. But is there anything special about your stuff 1? You know. Has anybody retired 2 recently?

No, nobody has retired recently. We never force anybody to retire here.

How old is your oldest employee 3?

That would be Aught. He is a cleaner. He is 87.

87? And he cleans the store everyday?

No. There is the other two cleaners. They are not so old. Mabo 70. Avil 75. No. 76. That is right. He just had his birthday.

And they don’t want to retire?

NO. I think they enjoy their work and that keep them so young. Also we pay it this Saturday and they get four week pay holiday jet 4.

So how many workers do you have who are over retired age?

We employ a stuff 105. Maybe half of them is over 65. The young working in this office. We have computers now, you know.

Has the store changed over years?

No, not really. I start working here in 1948 and I had two secretaries at that time. Here my first secretary is 72.

Why did she live in Renoce so young?

Well, she was getting married to someone who live in the other town.

That’s amazing.

Tell me. Have you ever fire anybody?

NO. Not jet. I can’t see any reasons to fire somebody unless it is on this there is a problem we have elder employees 5.

Do you think you will retire, Mr. Renoce?

Yes. I am 86. My son is going to take the business next year. That would be good to have a younger man in chare. He is only 64.
