1. Two Americans jailed for two years in Iran arrived in Oman today on their way back to the US. Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal released on bail 1 of $500,000 each. Sarah Shourd who was freed a year ago greeted the men.
2. President Barack Obama said it is up to Israelis and Palestinians - not the UN to reach agreement. In a speech today to the General Assembly, he opposed the decision by the Palestinians to seek statehood recognition from the Security Council.
3. A law enforcement official says the man who was seriously injured along with his two sons by a car bomb blast in Michigan is an area lawyer. Authorities are looking for clues about how the bomb was made and who might have planted it.
4. Remains 2 of nine servicemen who died when their bomber 3 was shot down in the Pacific during Word War II have been buried at Arlington National Cemetery 4. Remains were recovered in 1949 but couldn't be identified. In recent years, DNA 5 and dental records helped identify the men.
