1. The State Department says it's trying to confirm reports that three American students have been released from custody 1 in Egypt. A lawyer for one of the students says a court has ordered them freed. The students were arrested Sunday during a protest in Cairo.
2. Libya's transitional government has been sworn in before the country's interim 2 leader. It's another step along the country's roadmap to elections next year. The formation of the Cabinet clears the way for the election of a 200-member national congress by the end of June.
3. Gabrielle Giffords is helping 3 serve a Thanksgiving meal at a military base in her hometown of Tucson, Arizona. The congresswoman arrived along with her husband Mark Kelly. Giffords is recovering from being shot in the head in a January attack that left six people dead.
4. And American troops are marking their last Thanksgiving in Iraq. Fewer than 20,000 US troops remain in Iraq at eight bases across the country and all must be out by the end of the year.
