John: I’d love to, but I may not be back in time for it. I won’t be back to campus 1 until New Year’s Day.
Christopher: Terrific 2! That’s when we’re having the party. I mean, the New Year’s Eve. Can you make it?
John: I think I can. I got two tickets for a basketball game in the afternoon. We could watch the game before the party. Would like to go?
