The satellite image shows a band of cloud across central and south east Australia is producing flooding,rain and storms.Thick cloud over the tropic is causing thundery showers.Skys are clearing from the west.
In Queensland,rain areas and thunderstorms will continue over the Channel country and parts of the north west.Scattered 1 showers also expect through the tropic east and about the central and southern coasts,fine and very warm elsewhere.
Showers are easing in north-east New South Wales.There will be areas of rain throughout the remaining districts,with locally heavy falls,likely in south eastern and central parts and patchy rain in the south west.
In Victoria,rain areas are extending throughout from the northern west,heavy falls are likely to develop over the east,particularly about the ranges.Isolated 2 thunderstorms,possible over the south west late in the day.
Tasmania can expect isolated showers about the north and north east,with areas of rain about King Island,slowly extending state wide through the day.
In south Australia,there will be isolated thunderstorms in the far north east.Rain contracting Eastwoods in the evening,isolated showers at times over the remainder,but fine over the north west pastoral.
