Indonesia's counter-terrorism police have shot dead five men suspected of planning terrorist attacks in Bali.Heavily armed police conducted two raids overnight.Three suspects were shot and killed in at a hotel in Sanur,another two died during a raid in Denpasar.Police say they seized two handguns and dozens of bullets during those raids.
The New South Wales Riverina town of Hay is on flood alert this morning,with the Murrumbidgee river expected to peak 9 meters later this morning.Residents have been advised to evacuate 1 but most people have decided 2 to stay put.Authorities say at least one leak has been detected in the levee protecting the town.
