Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes (are) enjoying their first full day as parents today. The couple (were) breaking the news yesterday that indeed they had become parents. A little girl came yesterday -- 7 pounds, 7 ounces, 20 inches long. No word yet though on whether Katie underwent a silent birth which is traditional with Scientologist , but we do know that the baby will be raised a Scientologist, which, er, the news (was) coming from Tom Cruise who spoke 1 to, talked to Diane Sawyer, saying that indeed Katie had embraced the religion and that was their plan to raise the child a Scientologist. This is Katie's first child and it is Tom Cruise's third child. He has two children from a previous marriage to Nicole Kidman. Those children, of course, (are) being adopted.
From the very beginning, their relationship being a media spectacle, many wondered whether it was all a publicity 2 stunt 3. He was, er, promoting "War of the Worlds", she was promoting "Batman Begins" so, er, a lot of things went out, a lot of people were definitely thinking that this was a publicity stunt. We don't know, there probably are still skeptics out there, but one thing that we do know for sure that this duo has now become a trio.
