Nowadays, more and more people in society have realized the importance of quality education. However students in primary schools and high schools are still complaining that they are overloaded 1 with too much homework. In many teachers' eyes, homework offers a good methods to strengthen the knowledge the students have abtained, yet they ignored the disadvantages that homework brings. For one thing too much homework will take up all the spare time of students leaving them unable to enjoy the rest of their lives; for another too much homework will do great harm to students' health both physically 2 and mentally. Its high time that schools thought more about the function of homework and tried to take practical measures to promote the all-round development of students.
