This year the votes for the World’s Most Powerful went to Russian President Vladimir Putin. He climbs one spot ahead of U.S. President Barack Obama, who held the title in 2012.

根据此排行榜，俄罗斯总统普京成为世界最有影响力人物，超越连续两年位居榜首的美国总统奥巴马。另据环球网报道，中国国家主席习近平在此次排行榜中排在第三位。
据悉，共有72位世界政治家、经济家和社会活动家入选世界最有影响力人物排行榜。
而入选的最具影响力人物中，俄罗斯除总统普京外，还有总理梅德韦杰夫(第53名)、俄罗斯石油公司总裁伊戈尔·谢钦(第60名)和俄罗斯首富阿里舍尔·乌斯马诺夫(第63名)。
2011年，俄罗斯总统普京在排行榜中名列第二位，2012年排名第三位。
