Lake Of Tears（泪湖）于92年5月成立于瑞典，成员：Daniel Brennare，Jonas Eriksson，Michael Larsson和Johan Oudhuis。他们录制了他们的第一个DEMO。DEMO于93年的春末完成。这个DEMO引来了Black Mark公司的兴趣。加入Black Mark后Lake Of Tears开始制作他们的首张专辑《Greater Art》（更伟大的艺术）。
