November 21st, 1877 Thomas Edison announces the invention of the phonograph, after testing the device by reciting a nursery rhyme. Mary had a little lamb, whose fleece was white as snow. 2001,In a case that baffles investigators 2, Ottilie Lundgren, a 94-year-old woman in Connecticut, dies of inhalation anthrax. She's the fifth and final victim of the anthrax scare following the September 11th attacks. 1985,Jonathan Pollard, a former U.S. Navy intelligence analyst 3, is arrested, accused of spying for Israel. Pollard later pleads guilty and is sentenced to life in prison.
