1971, the hijacker 5, known as D.B. Cooper, parachutes from a Northwest Orient Airlines 727 over Washington State with 200,000 dollars in ransom 6 money. His fate remains 7 unknown to this day.
And 1991, “We’re the champions, my friends…” In London, rock singer Freddie Mercury, front man of the group Queen, dies of AIDS-related pneumonia 8. He was 45.
